The SAF Military Dog Unit (MWDU) or “SAF K-9” unit supports a wide range of enforcement operations with specially trained dogs.

Guard dogs assist to ensure that military installations are safe and secure, whilst sniffer dogs are trained to sniff out arms and explosives, and uncovering misuse of narcotics in camps.
