Kacang Puteh Man with Stall (Figurine SH004)

Kacang Puteh (pronounced “ka-chang pu-tay“) refers to roasted or fried nuts and beans. In 1950s and 1960s Singapore, the sellers were typically immigrants from India and were affectionately called Kacang Puteh Men.

This Miniature Stories collectible figurine depicts the Kacang Puteh Man wearing a blue turban, white shirt and white “sarong.” He comes with his mobile stall with an assortment of tidbits, and is in the midst of scooping them into a paper cone for his customers.
